Exciting New Features in GTT 1.1 Update Transforming Your Tapering Experience

Tapering medication or supplements can be a complex and delicate process. Managing dosage changes smoothly is essential to avoid discomfort or setbacks. The latest update to GTT, version 1.1, introduces practical features designed to make tapering easier and more flexible. These improvements give users better control over their tapering schedules and reduce the hassle of manual adjustments.

This post explores the key enhancements in GTT 1.1 and how they improve your tapering experience.

Apply Button for Jump Dose Adjustments

One of the most significant additions in GTT 1.1 is the apply button next to the jump dose (mg) field. Previously, changing the jump dose during tapering was either impossible or cumbersome. Now, you can adjust the jump dose at any point in your tapering plan without starting over.

How It Works

  • If you reduce the jump dose, GTT automatically adds rows for the new smaller steps until you reach your new jump dose.

  • If you increase the jump dose, GTT removes the unnecessary rows, simplifying your tapering table.

  • You can undo or redo these changes using the standard undo/redo buttons, giving you flexibility to experiment with different tapering speeds.

Customizable Default Cut Percentage in Table Generation

Another valuable update is the addition of a cut percentage field in the table generation stage. Before version 1.1, GTT defaulted to 5% reductions when generating tapering tables. You could still have changed the first row cut % and fill the rest of the table with a right click, but defining your own default from the start makes much more sense.

Please keep notifying me for any bugs or suggestions. This update (as all 1.x updates) is free of charge!
